It's been almost a year since I played this and I still can't stop thinking about it! Buy it, play it!

What a very wholesome treat this was at 9pm with a coffee <3

10/10, really loved it

Phenominal writing, cute animation, impeccable vibes. I really enjoyed it!

Nice game! the characters felt very "real" to me.

I had a magical time playing this, it was so funny and I loved the family so very much! Thank you for making this incredible game experience

Super cute and super sweet! Amazing job!

Cozy adventure which cured my depression. Really good art and storytelling. Totally recommend it.

Beautiful and sweet

Wow, this felt like playing a Pixar film. So well written, and the care for detail! <3

I didn't read what the game was about but I got it in bundle and it looked nicely. I was expecting good game but what I got is exceptional game! I really felt what the game is trying to get me feel and I was greeted by flashbacks of my own camping experiences with my parents (triggered by sound of going inside tent).  This game has really good dialogues and story, it feels real, it feels like you are each of the character in that trip which gives depth to your potential real life campings :) I can only recommend this there is no catch. It feels like characters are real people with questions I had in their age and adults are having questions I am slowly starting to have. I appreciate good stories and this one is exceptional, without repeating my points again thank you developers that you made this game :)

Lots of fun! Wholesome and humorous. :)

This is actually so wholesome ??

I had a good time playing this with my partner - the graphics, environment exploration and style design are really cute and charming, and every character is so fun and memorable. however, I think this game warrants a content warning - we were both very caught off guard by scenes involving  young teens experiencing directed verbal sexual assault, along with discussions of underaged sexuality and potential implications towards past sexual abuse.

I really appreciate that it took the time to explore such matters in a thoughtful and layered way, but nothing about the game's info page, the sexual innuendo label on Steam, or any other notes I could find online gave me enough of a warning about what it would entail to keep me from feeling rattled, uncomfortable and distressed throughout playing, especially since I had no idea how far it would continue to go into these subjects as I continued.

I think something like this is incredibly important, not just for players such as myself who find encountering these subjects unprepared extremely difficult, but also since this is a game explicitly about adults navigating the difficult place of giving guidance to vulnerable kids. I think it would have been helpful to draw more of a distinction between which parts of these discussions were coming from the characters themselves, and which were intended as commentary by the writers and developers, because it made me a little confused along the way.

any time messages like this are included in a game that young people can access, I think it should be handled with the utmost care, and while the advice from Clo to Mord was very powerful, important, meaningful and clearly from a very difficult and caring place in her life, I'm honestly not sure I feel it goes to the extent and detail needed to ensure the conclusion players will take away is one that will definitively better their relationship to intimacy, especially when underage.

I really hope what I'm saying is clear! I think this is a wonderful game overall, I just hope people can engage with it in a way that is safe for them. thank you so much for listening, it'd mean the world if you could take this to heart!!

Thank you for the detailed and thoughtful feedback- we have added a content warning to this and the steam pages. I appreciate you and your partner sticking with it though those rough patches, and for unpacking the dynamics of expectations/audience in your comment. We'll be thinking about this in the future! Thanks again :)

This game played on my heartstrings as if it were a harp. As has already been said, the dialogue is great and the game-feel with said dialogue is amazing. Together they set so many moods just right. Thank you for making this game.

I started this game while on a work call in which my attention was not really required (why did they even need me? sigh).

A couple of dialogues in and I was totally hooked, laughing like an idiot to whatever Mort said. I had to write some of that shit down.

Stopped playing to continue playing it with the full focus this gem needs.

Thanks for creating this!

This game really hit home for me. I was not expecting it to be this good, but man what an awesome ride. Absolutely loved getting know each character. They felt so real and fun to be around. The combination of great dialogue and simple gameplay really made me feel at home in every scene. And to top it all off, the music is AMAZING. Seriously, I love love love the soundtrack in this game.

Thanks for the awesome game guys, this is a true gem and deserves more attention in the indie game community. It's been a while since a game put a real smile on my face and made me wish the story never ended <3

Legitimately amazing game. Excellent writing and characters.

I love every second and every dialogue of this game - and Mord is simply THE BEST

Easily one of my favorite games of all time. This game is a stunning juggling act between many deeply personal stories. They range from adolescence, adulthood, and elderly; and are all amazing. You really feel their pain, but also their joy. It plays out like those memories we have when we were right there on the cusp of young adulthood, and had our first real "free" experience... Just gorgeous. I'm excited to see where Turnfollow keeps going.

Thank you for making this game.

We really really liked this game. It was a very sweet and quiet but very well written character piece about the quiet peace of camping and relationships. I was also delighted to see the M+A extra story hidden in the chapter select. It was a beautiful way to spend an evening. I am going to check out the other games by Turnfollow!

I got this game with the bundle for racial justice and equality, i really liked it! It was a real cute game to play and I think I'll like exploring it more in the future to see things I might have missed at first. Thank you guys for this good game !

mord is a kindred spirit

Played this on Switch and loved it. Cozy, but not cloying. Very touching.

Hey! Can anyone tell me if there are snakes in the game? I started it and there was a rattlesnake warning and I can't handle even drawings of snakes, so please let me know!

I loved the beginning though. The music, the atmosphere and the art style, they are all lovely.

(+4)

Hello! The only mention of snakes is in that opening scene with the poster, no depictions!

Thank you! I’m looking forward to completing the game then. 🌸

The story-telling was super nice, I really liked the style and the kids made me laugh, super enjoyable c: thank you!
